Filing a dispute

  • Disputes must be filed within 48 hours of completion. Around Me's decision on releasing or refunding held funds is final.
  • Use “Report a problem” on the job. Pick what went wrong, describe it, and add a photo if you can.
  • A report filed before the payment is released pauses the automatic 48-hour release until our team reviews it.

Damage claims

  • Around Me is not responsible for property damage, injury, loss, or quality of work. If a student damages property while doing a job (for example, breaking a window while cleaning it), the student is solely responsible. The poster's remedy is against the student directly, including small claims court or other legal action.
  • Around Me may share a student's name and contact information with the poster if a damage claim is filed.
